Naboo Royal Handmaiden support unit for Star Wars Shatterpoint – 40mm scale.
🇬🇧 I was really looking forward to painting this mini. I’ve always wanted to try painting such cool colour gradients with Contrast or Xpress paints. With the Royal Handmaidens, I finally had the opportunity to do so. The result isn’t quite perfect, but on the whole I’m very happy with it. In any case, the yellow, orange and red shades were a nice change from my otherwise rather natural, subtle colour palette.
🇩🇪 Was hab ich mich auf die Bemalung dieser Mini gefreut. Ich wollte schon immer mal versuchen mit Contrast bzw. Xpress Farben so coole Farbverläufe zu malen. Bei den Royal Handmaidens hatte ich endlich die Gelegenheit dazu. Das Ergebnis ist nicht ganz perfekt, aber im Großen und Ganzen bin ich sehr zufrieden damit. Jedenfalls waren die Farbtöne Gelb, Orange und Rot mal eine schöne Abwechslung zu meine sonst eher natürlichen, dezenten Farbpalette.
